Below is a list of policies that the NDRT expects it members, regular volunteers, Families of Members and Volunteers to follow. These policies are here for public viewing, and are strictly enforced as per policy mandates. . Our goal, to be as professional as possible when helping others in times of need. Comments, Ideas, and concerns are welcomed and encouraged. If you feel that at any time an NDRT Member, Volunteer, or Associate of the NDRT is in violation of any of these policies, please contact the NDRT President, Mr. Chris Perry at cperry@ndrt.org or call 1-615-405-4105, so the situation can be resolved in an appropriate time and manner. It is the policy this organization to ensure that all personnel, directly or indirectly, associated with or are a member of the NDRT, follow proper procedure(s) when dealing, directly or indirectly, with any and all donations given to the NDRT and/or it's projects in order to protect said donations from possible theft or fraud. Therefore. it is the policy of this organization that no NDRT member, volunteer, or family members of NDRT members or volunteers be allowed to accept, or ask for, monetary donations except at Sanctioned NDRT Events. Only those designated by the NDRT President are permitted to except monetary donations in the form of checks or money orders, and those persons will be known only to the NDRT B.O.D. members to ensure safety and security of said donations.
AT THIS TIME THE NDRT DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD DONATIONS, DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO ANYONE, ACTUAL MEMBERS OF THE NDRT WILL NOT AND SHOULD NOT ASK FOR IT.
To donate to the NDRT organization, the following procedures must be followed in order to accept and process the donation(s) properly.
1) Except for Sanctioned Events the NDRT will only accept Checks or Money Orders.
1a) If at any time other than an NDRT Event you are asked to donate to the NDRT in cash, Please contact us immediately.
2) All checks or money orders must be payable only to: National Disaster Response Team2a) If you or someone you know is asked to make the check or money order payable to anyone other than the NDRT, Please contact us immediately
2b) Any check that bounces or is returned as NSF will charged the bank rate on fees and penalties. And may be turned over to the local prosecutor for investigation.
3) In the memo section it should list which program you wish your donation(s) to go to, IE: Project Youth, Safe Haven One, Rehab, or National Disaster Response Team (NDRT)
4) For Receipt return if different from address on check or envelope, a correct address must be included with your donation(s).

Nor will it tolerate or condone any member of it's organization, or family members of said members to advocate, support, or practice sexual harassment based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. Any infraction of this policy, be it written, verbal or through actions will bring immediate termination of that members position with in the organization. And such an infraction can be turned over to the local prosecutor for determination on any possible charges.
