Below is a list of policies that the NDRT expects it members, regular volunteers, Families of Members and Volunteers to follow. These policies are here for public viewing, and are strictly enforced as per policy mandates. . Our goal, to be as professional as possible when helping others in times of need. Comments, Ideas, and concerns are welcomed and encouraged. If you feel that at any time an NDRT Member, Volunteer, or Associate of the NDRT is in violation of any of these policies, please contact the NDRT President, Col. Policy #1 Disposition & Disbursement of NDRT Funding
It is the Policy of this
organization that:
The
National Disaster Response Team (NDRT) is a 100% Volunteer organization,
meaning; No member(s) of the NDRT, Officer(s), member(s) or volunteer(s) will
bring to motion, suggestion, movement or action against the NDRT or its members
or volunteers or officers to change said policy of the NDRT in ref. to disposition
of or disbursement of any and all donation(s), grant(s) or funding, whether by
monetary, material or service. It is the purpose and design of this
organization that 100% of every donation made to the NDRT or National Disaster
Response Team will be used to its fullest extent to acquire: Equipment,
Cleaning Supplies, Temp. Shelter, Food, Water, First-Aid supplies, Training for
registered Volunteers (within the parameters of the organization) and much more
(again with the parameters of the NDRT)
Any
attempt to change this policy will result in the immediate dismissal of any
member or officer and / or the dropping of any volunteer from the active or
inactive call list and if warranted any information indicating illegal activity
will be turned over to a prosecutor of the area in which the infraction was
committed for possible legal action.
This organization is
a 100% volunteer organization and its members, officers and volunteers will
always remain salary or payroll free of this organization.
The National Disaster Response Team (NDRT), to protect you the
donor from any possible fraud or theft of money and or personal or banking
information.

It is the Policy of this
organization that:
All information be it personal or banking information involving
the donor will be considered and treated as confidential and shall not be
released, given to, copied for, sold to, or loaned to fashion, media or means
to any individual, business, organization or agency. Without expressed written
permission by the donor.
It is also, under this policy that:
Any
failure of this policy by any member, officer or volunteer of this organization
or any attempt to change this policy will result in the immediate dismissal of
any member or officer and / or the dropping of any volunteer from the active or
inactive call list and if warranted any information indicating illegal activity
will be turned over to a prosecutor of the area in which the infraction was

With-out direct written permission from the President of the NDRT,
no person, business, organization, or agency will accept, attempt to collect or
in any way represent for the purpose of financial gain, this organization, or
receive any monetary, property or item(s) in lieu of for the purpose of
accepting donations.
It is also, under this
policy that:
No NDRT member, officer or volunteer; including; family members of
NDRT members, officers, or volunteers be allowed to accept, or ask for, any
type of donation on behalf of the NDRT, with the following exceptions: at
Sanctioned NDRT Events and including written permission from the President
of the NDRT.
It is also: under this
policy that:
All donations will be handled through, (with the exception of
Sanctioned Events), PayPal. (Which is linked through our website at: http://ndrt.org.)

verbal or through actions will bring the immediate termination of said member,
officer and or volunteer of said organization and that all information
involving everyone in the infraction, including anyone outside of the
organization, will be turned over to the local prosecutor for determination on
any possible charges.
It is the Policy of this organization that:
This policy extends to any agency, organization, business or individual outside
of said organization, that the NDRT associates with, in any manner. Any
infraction by said entities will result in immediate disassociation and
exposure by this policy, said infraction by such organizations, agencies,
businesses and individuals will be turned over to the local prosecutor for
determination on any possible charges.

practices sexual harassment in any form, be it by actions, verbal or written
form, based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size,

or family members of said members, in or of any form.
It is the Policy of this

officer or volunteer of the NDRT, or family members of said members officers or
volunteers to advocate, support, or practice sexual harassment based on age,

at any time any member of the National Disaster Response Team, regardless of
position, seniority, or experience, attempts to, or requests that, or makes
motion to alter, amend, or otherwise change in any fashion, the By-Laws of the

immediately released of all rights and privileges and positions within the
NDRT.
Policy #8 Regional Policies for National Disaster
Response Team (NDRT)
It is the Policy of this organization
that:
The National Disaster Response Team (NDRT), the following policies for Regional
Operations and Directors are as followed;
A) Regional
Policy 1) All supplies, equipment, and donations (financial, material or
service) donated to the National Disaster Response Team whether it is accepted
through an Individual of; a Chapter of; a Regional of; or of the National
Disaster Response Team directly, becomes the sole property of the National
Disaster Response Team..
B) Regional
Policy 2) Regional Office(s), unit(s), and / or person or personnel will at all
times operate appropriately under the By-Laws created by the NDRT, when the
organization itself was created and all policies listed by the NDRT. Upon
creation of any NDRT Regional Office, a complete copy of the By-Laws and the
Policies of the NDRT will be provided to that Regional Director. Each Regional
Director will be responsible to see that all volunteers read, understand and
abide by the NDRT By-Laws and Policies set forth.
C) Regional
Policy 3) Failure to operate by these By-Laws and policies set forth by the
Founder and President of the NDRT, or any attempt to change said By-Laws and
policies created prior to this policy or any attempt to create other policies
that contradict said By-Laws and policies will grounds for immediate removal
from any NDRT office being held, position being held and Organization itself.
D) Regional
Policy 4) Additional Policies may be created as needed as long said policies do
not contradict or challenge all other previous policies up to this date.
E) Regional Policy 5)
If, at any time, any Regional Office decides to shut down, all assets with in
that Region belonging to the NDRT will continue to operate and remain property
of the NDRT. Any attempt to deviate from this policy or the By-Laws of the NDRT
will be turned over to local authorities for prosecution.
Policy #9 Chapter Policies for National Disaster
Response Team (NDRT)
It is the Policy of this organization
that:
The National Disaster Response Team (NDRT), the following policies for Regional

will be turned over to local authorities for prosecution.
